I've taken my car here for something like 7 years now and was perfectly fine with the service. I hadn't been there since covid and its all new people idk if they changed management or what. It's really disappointing because this place used to consistently match or beat the average national repair cost for any given repair. But now these guys are consistently asking for 25%+ more than the average repair cost. I'm factoring inflation too. My advice is if you have to go to this place get a detailed estimate first and then google what the average repair cost is with parts and labor for each line item. I suspect you'll find you're getting ripped off. Truly disappointing Edit in response: Explain to me how a sensor that anyone can purchase from a reputable parts vendor for less than $90 somehow balloons to $300+ when yall order it. I understand that yall have overhead and that has to be made up for somewhere but charging 3x+ for a part is beyond the pail. Especially for a long time customer that has recommended yall to friends for years. Tldr: Don't fall for these people's handwaving about mysterious "factors" or the supply chain or inflation. All that's priced in at this point. Do you're own research these people can't be trusted anymore.
Mr. Draper, we are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your recent visit. We do always try to provide customers with the most cost information up front prior to performing any repair. National averages may be a good consumer guide however; as I am sure you understand there are several factors which are not considered in this. I do see you have been in twice in the last couple of months on 2 different vehicles, one which had an issue which required tracing and repairing wiring which is a time consuming task and one which had a part replaced somewhere else but was still not functioning properly. For both we did provide repair estimates prior to repair as well as all potential risks for the service requested on the second vehicle since we did not originally diagnose or repair that issue and tried to disclose all known prices and risks prior to repair which was declined and we did not charge for any time spent on that vehicle. We do try to keep our prices as competitive as possible given the current economic climate and we are still own and run by the same owners who have been here for 20 years. We do hope we have a chance to continue to earn your business going forward and are happy to discuss further
